Notes: Finally able to get shoes all the way around on Jack. His backs still have some growing to do but Stewart got them on without drawing blood or making him gimpy. He feels so much better he was actually a bit of a handful today...but in a good way. He was bobbing his head and moving out on a mission - poor Drifter had to trot to keep up. I towed Drifter with his pack for the first time out of the pasture. I turned him loose and let him trot and canter with it to get him use to it flopping around and making a racket. He was good with all of it - even when a 15 foot blackberry vine grabbed hold of it and he drug it around until it finally came off. This will probably be our last ride in the hills as I'm heading south soon.
