Notes: Got a few miles in before I head back to Arizona. Even thought I grew up in this area, I really didn't venture out beyond the country behind the house I grew up in. First time exploring this area on horseback. A lot of potential and a short 4 mile haul. Nice.

Notes: Rode up until the snow got to Drifters belly. Wasn't sure what was under it in spots so turned back. We were within a couple miles of the reservoir I believe.
Drifter wasn't sure what to think of the snow at first. Once he figured it out he plowed right through it.
A good day to spend celebrating Jack's 13th birthday.

Notes: Another much needed break from moving/unpacking. Mike picked me up and we hauled to the OX ranch corrals and rode up Indian Creek to the timber line. We saw a large heard of elk bedded down in a distant saddle. The views of the hells canyon area where stunning. I worried Jack would be soft. He's pretty fat and sassy from eating the green grass coming up. He barely broke a sweat...he's a machine in the mountains. Looking forward to riding this area again and brining Drifter.
Notes: Took a break from packing/moving and went for a ride on the WRT with Patty. Definitely what I need. Beautiful day with a beautiful friend.
