Note: I was unable to get my annual New Years day ride in due to heavy monsoons so had to wait until the 2nd. It was crisp but beautiful. We hauled up to the public access and rode in to the corrals from there. We hit the wash at the corrals and rode east. Drifter is turning into a pretty good mountain goat. He's still barefoot but with the heavy rains, the rocks didn't bother him at all. I will most likely keep him barefoot. I took him up and down some steeper terrain and he navigated it all with ease. He had his walk on today as well. Fun little guy to ride...
